Purple patch broad bean 5 way ruck sling bag

Just made this Broad bean bag with red patches.
This patched section is

a hidden zipper pocket where

you can use to store maps, catalogues, memo, etc.

The back side has a zipper opening and a small pocket where

you can store parking ticket, smart rider, etc.

You can put your purse into the zipper opening,

and it will be stored automatically inside the inner

whole sized zipper pocket

like so.
This will protect your purse with double zipper,
but you can get access to the purse easily through the back zipper.
Very handy when travelling!

The other side has a zipper pocket and a pocket with a flap.

The bag opens both way and has a zipper cover.
This zipper cover will hide the zipper from view, so it is hard for people behind you to find an opening.
The front side (the side with patched pocket) has a hard sheet inside (which is used for the bag base)  to hold its shape.

You can make the strap short and use it as a shoulder bag
or

make it long to use it like a messenger bag
or

make the strap short and slide the bag behind
and use it as a body bag
or

make the strap long, pull both sides and use it as a back pack
or

just hold onto the tab and hold it like so.

Japanese retro broad bean 5 way ruck bag

Just made this gorgeous broad bean 5 way ruck bag with antique kimono fabric.
It is now in my Etsy shop.

This unique bag is great to use when going away for a holiday.

There's a zipper pocket here and

you can put catalogues or maps you get on you trip.

The back side looks like this.
I have machine stitched this broad bean pattern.

This small pocket will fit your travel card, parking ticket, etc.

and you can store your purse from the zipper opening,

and it will be stored automatically inside this inner whole sized zipper pocket

like so.
This will protect your purse from theft, but you can take it out easily from the back zipper.

The other side of the inside has a big pocket with a flap and a zipper pocket.

I found this "kumi himo" (a traditional hand woven rope)
so I've used it to hook the zipper ends.
This will make sure that the zipper will not be opened by pick pockets.

The strap is secured with the leather tab which is hand sewn onto the base.

You can make the strap short and use it as a shoulder bag,

or make the strap long and use it as a messenger bag, or

pull the strap to both sides and use it as a back pack, or

make the strap short and use it as a body bag.
or
just hold onto the top tab and use it as a tote.

Wall shelf made with card board

When making more than one bag at the same time,
I need a shelf to put parts aside.
so, I made it

on the wall!

I used two nails that was already on the wall
and just hang this card board shelf on them.
I will paint it later, but this will do for now.
