my sold bags in 2 weeks of June

It is raining hard outside, and a strong wind is making it worse.
I don't mind rain, but I just don't like strong wind as our old house makes alarming noise sometime.

I had been busy making granny boston bags last few weeks.
There are 5 bags in total and they were all sold with a good price.
Among the 5, I have sold simple ones without cross stitches on my HP for 5800 Japanese yen.
(about US$60.00, AU$75.00)
Those with cross stitches were sold via Japanese auction, and they all were sold with higher price.

I wanted to put my items in Etsy shop but since I wasn't sure how much I should price it, I didn't start making bags for Etsy until now.
With the bags been sold out with the price I put on my HP, I now have a good idea about the price I should put, and so am going to work on some bags that I can put on Etsy shop.
I am still working on requested bags, but will try to find time to make at least one bag a week for Etsy shop.

Water proof duck cotton "teacher's bag"

This is my new bag made with Ivy duck cotton which has a water proof coating.
The fabric is No. 8 duck cotton, and the coating has made it quite hard.
The texture of the fabric is no different from the normal duck cotton,
and it will become softer as you use it.

Side pocket has a snap botton to make the pocket wider to fit a water bottle in.
There are 2 front pockets, and there is 2 pen holders in one of the pocket.

Zipper is 50cm (20")long, and it comes down about 5cm (1.9")on both sides to allow an easy access to inside.
There are 4 deep pockets inside.
Size: W 40cm(15"), H 29cm(11.25"), D 13cm(5")
Strap: adjustable in length up to 125cm(49")

an antique linen bag

This is my new granny boston bag which is in for auction from today.
I just loved working with this lovely fabric.
This gorgeous floral print is an antique linen, I think is from England.
It is so lovely, and it goes very well with the antique laces.

The bag below is on auction and will finish tonight.
This one has also proven very popular compared to the black one which finished 2 days ago.
I have received my first feedback on Etsy today!
Her comment has given me confidence to continue my Etsy shop.
It is difficult to get myself motivated to keep Etsy shop since I do better at auction Japan.
But since the client taste is very different that it is a challenge for me to design bags both for Etsy and for Japanese clients.
I will be busy with the new requests I just received, but will try and make more bags for Etsy.
