Since the last M size was too small to be named "M size", I have made it a bit bigger.
All the details are the same with the others.

cute pink dog bag

This is the small size gb bag.

I was going to make a second laptop bag, but I just couldn't get inspired by it.
All I have in my mind is this granny boston bag.
I seem to love everything about this bag, and I think I will just keep making it until I get bored.

mother's bag my style

This is the recent bag I have made by request.
The bag is to be used us the "mother's bag", and so have put some useful functions in it.

This is the back side of the bag.
The fabric is the panel print, and it was sent to me free when I purchased few fabrics on the net.

This is the side pocket. It has a velcroe flap, and it can fit in 600ml bottle in it.

The main centre part is zipped up, and has pockets one both sides.

The front side pocket has a key holder which can be fastened by velcroe.
This will allow an easy access to your key.
This is the small pouch which can be fastened into the bag, or can be worn on your shoulder by using the attached strap.

This is how it looks when it is attached inside the bag.

The othre side of the bag has one big pocket and an elastic band.
The elastic band can be used in many ways, from holding files and magazines in place, to dividing large items from each other.
There are two of this bottle holders inside as well for baby milk, etc.
You can carry it on your shoulder like this, or
wear it long on your body like this.
The bag is now on Japanese auction for 4 days.

a laptop carry bag

I have just finished this bag today.
The blue part is the pocket which is divided into two.
The handle is sewn directly on the base of the bag.
I have hand painted the bird, and sewn the teary button eye on it.
The blue and grey fabrics are both 100% linen, and the red pattern part is cotton.
I have used a very thick felt like batting and a hard interfacing to strengthen the fabrics.
The bag can be carried as is, or you can attach the length adjustable strap to the side and carry it long on your body.
This is the back side of the bag. The sewn on handles actually give a character to this simple side.

The zipper is 60cm long, and can be opened both ways. The zipper is YKK.

This is the one side of the inner wall. There is a 30cm zipper pocket to carry any valuables you want to keep out of site. There are 3 card size pockets, and one pocket with a flap.

The pocket with flap has two tack for extra room to carry bulky things like your mouse. The flap is fastened by a velcroe.

The three card size pockets can be used to carry your memory stick, IDs, point cards, etc.

The bag has a strengthening board at the bottom which you can remove.
It has a 2mm thick card inside.

The other side of the inside wall has one pocket and an elastic band.

You can insert your A4 file inside the pocket, and secure it by the elastic band.
The elastic band can be loosened by the velcroe.
The elastic band is also used to put your laptop in place.

specification update

I have roughly combined the fabrics based on the specifications.

The idea of using this blue colour was great! I think it will look better than the previous one.
However, since the fabric is a roughly woven linen fabric and it looks good as is, I am not keen to paint the spiky lines on it.

a requested bag design

I have received a request for a bag from the lady in Melbourne! Thank you!!
I was so pleased to hear that she loved my bags and so have decided to try and make one for her.

Here are the design I have come up with from the points she has given me of what she like to have.

The one she liked has a handle joined with the front pocket, but since she likes to carry a laptop sometimes, I have decided to sew the handle directly onto the base of the bag.
I also chose the different colour for the front pocket, and have put the asian type of print fabric all over. (I can change it if she doesn't like it)

This is the inside of the bag part 1.
The fabric used inside should be light enough to see what is inside the bag.

The inside of the bag part 2 has a 2 pockets, and an elastic band to put the laptop in place.
The elastic band is adjustable with velcroe.

Granny Boston Bag L

This is the recent bag I have made by request.
The lady has won a smaller version last year, and all her friends and her mother loved it that she has requested a bigger version for her mother.
The patchwork is all done with antique feedsacks, and the centre fabric is the antique hungarian linen. I have cross stitched S as requested.

The side pocket is also a feedsack, and it has a flap with velcroe.
The zipper comes down 5cm on each side.

There are 2 pockets on both sides of the centre zipper bag where you can store A4 documents easily. I have put a small pocket in the front side pocket to store your mobile phone, pen, etc.

The handle is long enough to be hand by your shoulder.

It has a removable strap so you can wear it long on your body.
