a sewing box with a drawer

I have put these two sewing boxes in the auction today.

This is a very simple one with a battenberg lace for an accent.

This has a "Russian" feel to it with the green pattern fabric used inside.
I have painted and appliqued the dove on the lid with a lace and a stamp.
These boxes are my new type, with a drawer at the bottom.
The top tray can also be removed.

carry around spectacle stands

I have made 7 new spectacle stands for this Christmas.
They are the last lot for this year.
They can be carried around or be used on the desk.
It has a cotton pad inside to protect your spectacles.
Here are some of the pictures.

This spectacle stand is very popular amongst Japanese people.
You can get the horizontal cases at the shop, but not a vertical stand like this, where you can use on the desk, as well as carry it in your bag.
This stand has been proven very useful by many users, in their bag as well as at their office or at home, and they are asking for more since the price is quite cheap.
Despite this cheap price, there are lots of work involved to make it, that it doesn't worth the effort, to tell you the truth.
But, I think I will continue making them as long as there is a demand for it.

A sewing box with a drawer

I have made this as a gift for my mum.
The cross stitch is from Sajou, and its "H" in case you can't see it. ; )

This is the inside of the sewing box, and it's same as the previous design.

You can remove the top tray to store scissors and roller cutter at the bottom.

This bottom shelf is now a drawer, and the handle is actually a parts that fasten the box with.

Now you can access the scissors and roller cutters without removing the top tray!
The fabric used is the plain purple linen and the Liberty cotton.
I will make the top tray and the bottom hight a little bit higher for the next one.

Alice theme sewing box

This is the new sewing box I have on auction now.
I have cross stitched A on the lid, and stamped the Alice theme.

I have stamped the rabit and its clock on the top tray.
I have cross stitched on the removable items on the lid.
They have velcroe at the back so they can be removed from the lid.

This is the bottom of the box when you remove the top lid.
You can store your cutting scissors and roller cutter.

This is the recent bag I have sold on auction.
All the fabrics used on the patchwork is antique feedsack from America, and I have cross stitched a colourful bird at the centre on antique hungarian linen.

This is the backside of the bag, and all the patchwork is 5cm x 5cm.

This is the side pocket. You can store your ipod or mobile phone.

This is the inside of the bag.
The main area is fastened by the zipper, and there are pockets on both side of it.
It is fastened by the magnetic hock.
