Liberty mini pouch bag

I had been making bags for my hubby and so wasn't able to make anything to put on Auction.
This is the latest pouch bag I made, and put it on Auction this morning.

In Japan, they call any bag that has a zipper joined to both sides, "Boston Bag".
So I have named it "mini boston pouch bag".
I have used the Liberty fabrics for the patch work, and the base is natural linen.

This is the back side of the pouch, and I have stamped a French love letter on it.

You can put on the attached strap to make it a mini bag.

I have made this strap using a leather and the Liberty fabric.
Quite cute.

Toto bag with the Liberty patchwork

This is the bag completed last night.
This side is the patchwork of the Liberty cotton.
It is just beautiful to work with.
The shape of the bag is the same one from the last one.
It is the zipper toto with the long zipper that comes almost to the bottom of the bag.

This is the back side of the bag. The base fabric is the European linen, and the pocket is the Liberty patchwork.

There are total of 6 pockets inside.
The fabric used inside is the cotton with a small floral print, and it matches well with the Liberty.
I have used the Liberty bias for the pocket edging.

You can wear it on your shoulder, or

You can wear it long on your body.

country chic zipper toto bag

This is the latest bag I made with antique feed sack and a unique print of sacks.

This print is the Strawberry theme, and I used it in the centre of the patchwork.

This is the back side which has the back side of that Strawberry sack print.

The zipper opens up wide as it is 50cm long, and so is easy to store things inside.

The fabric I used on the side is 100% jute, and gingham check inside to give it a country look.

You can wear it on your shoulder, or

use the removable strap to wear it long on your body.

Large toto bag

This is the large travel / business toto bag.
The fabric used is the English print cotton with beautiful flowers and butterfly.

There are two large pockets with 2cm depth on both side of the bag.
This side has a small pcket for mobile phone, card and others inside it.
The pocket is large enough to fit in most of the magazines or you office paper work.

The other side has a same large pocket sith 2cm depth, but this one has a zipper pocket inside.
Both pockets are fastened with the magnetic hock.

This is the inside of the bag. It has a total of 5 pockets for your diary, cosmetic pouch, etc.

The bag is fastened with the zipper.

There are small 3D pockets on both side of the bag to hold small bottle of water, or your ipod.

You can wear it long,

You can wear it on your shoulder,

or you can simply carry it.
This is the casual bag with the Liberty patchwork.
I have used 100% linen for the base fabric.

The Liberty patchwork part is the pocket, and is divided into two.

This is the back side of the bag.
It has a stamped French love letter, and my original dove.

I designed this dove and made it with "Keshi-han".
This means that you use rubber eraser to curve the design out.
There are many Keshi-han boards sold in Japan, and lots of stamp pads for fabrics.

This is the inside of the bag.
It has a 3D pocket for mobile phone, 2 pockets, 1 pen holder, and one removable zipper pouch.

This is the pouch being removed from the bag.
It has 3 card pockets on each side, and it can be fitted in the bag by the hock on both side of the zipper.

You can wear it short, or long.

Casual bag with Laura Ashley

What a dark day today...
It seems my mood has been affected by the climate, and I just don't feel bright.
Anyhow, I have just completed this bag.
I used the Laura Ashley fabric and the check linen fabric for this casual bag.

This is actually the back side of the bag.
I guess you can use it as a front.

There is this 3D pocket inside, with a removable pouch in the centre, and 2 pockets, and a pen holder on the other side.

This is when you remove the centre pouch. It is quite roomy.

This is the removable pouch.
It has 3 card pockets on both sides, which equals to total of 6 card pockets.
The handle is adjustable in length, so you can wear it short or long.
I am making another bag with same shape, but in liberty fabric this time.
And that will be the last one for this month, I assume, as I run out of the zipper.
I just ordered it, but I don't think it will come within this month.
I will, however, make a different bag that I have parts for.
I don't feel like it at the moment though, due to this dull weather.

my casual bag

I have just finished this bag yesterday.
It is my casual bag.
The fabric used is the European Linen all over, and antique feed sack cotton.

There are 2 pockets outside.

It closes with a zipper and I put my hand made accessory to the zipper so it is easier to open and close.

There are lots of pockets in the bag including the removable pouch.
It has a pen holder, 3D pocket, 2 normal pockets, and 6 card holders.

This is the removable pouch which has 6 card holders attached to it.

You can wear it short on your shoulder, or
You can wear it long.
I will be making the same type of casual bag, but with Laura Ashley next time.

antique linen from England

This is the second bag I made 2 days ago and forgot to log.
There were only too small amount of this fabric left, but I just managed to use it for this bag.
I have used IKEA cotton for the base and handle.

This is the back side of the bag, and I stamped this French Loveletter to the corner.

I have used the Jute fabric for side and bottom to give it more antique-ish air.
I have sewn in the leather strap and a beads on one side for an accessory.

There are pockets in both side of the outer pockets.

I have machine quilted the stripe fabric and used it for the inside fabric.
This worked very well as it strengthened the bag to shape itself.
There are pocekts on both sides.
